My 24th B'day at Sunway Lagoon

6th Jun '08 was my 24th birthday. Kui and I went on a trip to Sunway Lagoon, KL. We took Aeroline, a double deck coach. It is very comfy and spacious, with the lower deck as a lounge and lavatory, the upper deck with all the passenger seats and a big LCD TV. They do provide meals and drinks on board as well. Overall, it's not too bad an experience except for 1 or 2 irritating houseflies. The journey was about 4-5 hrs before we alighted at Sunway Pyramid (the shopping centre which is just beside Sunway Lagoon).

We stayed in Holiday Villa Subang (5-10 mins drive to Sunway Lagoon) which UOB is having the credit card promotion. S$300 for 3 days 2 nights, complimentary breakfast buffet, dining voucher of RM80 at the hotel restaurant, 2 free bowling games, 2 free cocktail and 2 complimentary tickets to Sunway Lagoon. It is a nice hotel and definitely worth the price!!

And settled our early dinner at this restaurant called "Italiannies".

Whoa! This was the tastiest italian meal I've ever had. I can never forget that whenever I look at these pictures... **drooling** And look at the restaurant's settings, does it even look like it's part of M'sia?

The next morning at Sunway Lagoon..

We did not take many pics as we left the camera in the locker since most of the rides will get us wet. Overall, I think the wet area looks quite similar to the Jurong swimming complex and the scariest ride I would feel so is the 360 deg viking. I would rate this place 7/10. (If you ask me, I would still prefer Disneyland and Ocean Park).
